MICHAEL ANATRA resides just east of Houston, Texas, in the small town of Deer Park with his wife and kids. He began working in the oil fields when he was still in high school, tearing down blowout preventers and other heavy equipment. Over the years, the knowledge he gained as a technician allowed him the opportunity to move into the drilling and production sector. What started as a rotational stint in South America as a mechanical supervisor has since catapulted his career into a position overseeing the day-to-day maintenance operations of forty-seven rigs worldwide, located in some of the harshest environments known to man.

When not occupied by work, he coaches football, baseball, basketball, and any other sports or hobbies his children show interest in.

He enjoys working out and spending time with his wife.
